FAQ

Can you supply both Live-in and Live-out Caregivers (Nannies)?

Yes, we represent a large selection of applicants and are able to match your specific needs at any time.

How long does it take to obtain a caregiver through your agency?

It is difficult to estimate as it depends on a number of factors. The country of origin of a caregiver/nanny is the most important factor, since Employment Authorization procedures vary from country to country. Caregivers from Europe tend to be here in 2-4 months, whereas caregivers from Israel take much longer. If you have hired someone who is presently working in Taiwan or Hong Kong, we estimate the process will take about 4-6 months. Again, please keep in mind that we can only estimate the approximate time since many procedures are out of our hands and depend on the timely processing by government agencies both in Canada and abroad.

How will we know that our caregiver understands what is required of her?

We will draw up a Work Contract for you and for your caregiver which outlines both her and your commitments, duties and requirements. The contract also describes the details of the caregiver’s hours of work, her duties, payment schedule, benefits and deductions and other relevant information tailored to your specific needs.

What if things don’t work out?

We offer customized solutions based on your family’s needs and pride ourselves in always finding a way to remedy a potential problem. Where are your nannies and caregivers from?

Our caregivers come from all over the world and we collaborate with partner agencies in most continents. We have also developed an extensive network of contacts in Asia, Europe and Latin America from which to choose potential applicants. In addition, we always continue to broaden our network within Canada and North America. We are presently placing caregivers through our offices in Alberta and BC, not only in the Lower Mainland, but throughout Canada.
